Podcasts

Turn any content into a two-host AI podcast episode. Generate from your notes, through AI Chat, or create standalone episodes in the Podcast Hub.

Hub layout

The Podcast Hub at /podcasts is laid out like a streaming app so you can find episodes, jump back into something you started, and curate collections without leaving the page.

Continue listening

As soon as you play an episode for more than five seconds, it appears in a horizontal rail at the top of the hub with a progress hairline and a Resume from button. Finished episodes are filed away automatically.

Browse rails

Below the hero you'll find Recently added, Your collections, From your notes, and Made by Theo AI. Each rail has its own View all link that drops you into the filtered library.

Library views

Toggle between a grid of album- style covers and a refined list. Sort by Recent, Longest, Shortest, A–Z, or Most listened. Your view choice is remembered per session.

Filter chips

Slice the library with one click: All, Episodes, Collections, From Notes, From Theo AI, From Learn, or Standalone. The in-page search box searches titles, focus topics, and source notes.

Inline collection creation

The first card in the Your collectionsrail is a New collection tile. Click it, name your series, and it appears in the rail immediately — no trip to the collection editor required.

Persistent now-playing bar

While an episode is loaded, a glassy player bar pins itself to the bottom of the hub with cover, title, scrubbable progress, transport controls, speed, and a quick Add to collection action. Closing it stops playback everywhere.

Playback progress is stored locally in your browser (per account) so the Continue listening rail and Resume button work the next time you open the hub — even before we sync progress to the cloud.

Generating an Episode

The quickest way to create a podcast is from the Notes editor:

  • Open any note and click the Podcast button in the sidebar toolbar.
  • Optionally add a focus topic to guide the discussion.
  • Choose your episode length, style, and language.
  • Toggle background music on or off.
  • Click Generate and wait — the modal shows real-time progress as the script is written, voices are recorded, and audio is mixed.

Script Node (Creator Canvas)

Write the script the hosts read verbatim

On the Podcast Creator Canvas, drop a Script node from the toolbar, wire it into the Episode, and the hosts read its body verbatim instead of letting Theo auto-write a script. Connect Topic, Notes, or Research nodes upstream of the Script node and they show up as references inside the editor for Theo Build to pull from.

  • Build with Theo drafts a complete multi-speaker script from your connected sources, hitting the goal duration within ±10%.
  • Enhance with Theo rewrites the existing script while preserving speaker order, key facts, names, numbers, and quotes.
  • Highlight a line or paragraph and the floating Edit with Theo pill rewrites only that snippet — just type a one-line instruction like “in Sam’s voice” or “make this snappier”.
  • Connected Host chips insert speaker prefixes at the cursor (e.g. Alex: ).
  • The pacing meter shows live word-count vs. target seconds so you stay on time without leaving the editor.
  • Press +Enter to save, or click Save script in the footer.

Voice is set on the Host nodes — the Script editor stays focused on the words.

Collections & Series

Group episodes into playlists

Create a collection to group related episodes into an ordered series. Collections have their own title, description, and cover theme.

Share an entire collection with a single public link — listeners can play episodes in order.

Sharing Episodes

Public share pages

Toggle sharing on any episode or collection to get a public URL. The share page features:

  • Full audio player with playback controls.
  • AI-generated cover art or gradient cover with your chosen theme.
  • Episode title, author name, and duration.
  • No login required for listeners.

Cover Art

6 gradient themes + AI-generated covers

Every episode gets a cover with one of 6 gradient themes: Violet, Emerald, Blue, Amber, Rose, or Slate. You can also generate an AI cover image for a unique visual.

Background Music

AI-composed background tracks

Toggle the Background Music switch when generating to add an AI-composed instrumental track mixed under the conversation. The music is generated and blended automatically during the mixing phase.

Podcast episodes use AI credits. Longer episodes and background music use more credits. Check your credit balance on the Pricing & Billing page.
