Stories

Share an ephemeral 24-hour photo or screen-recorded video at the top of /community. Stories are capped at 60 seconds, ship with rich editing tools, and disappear automatically after a day.

Photo or screen-recorded video

Capture a single screenshot or record up to 60 seconds of any screen / window / tab. Mic capture is optional.

Recording your screen

After picking a screen we count down 3 → 2 → 1, then hide the modal and show a small floating timer in the bottom-right corner so the recording doesn't end up containing the dialog itself. Hit Stop on the pill (or wait for the 60s cap) to return to the editor.

Stickers, text & GIFs

Drop emoji, drag in Giphy stickers/GIFs, or add styled text with five preset looks (Classic, Neon, Modern, Serif, Glitter), font + color picker, and inline edit. Drag, resize (scroll wheel), rotate, duplicate, or layer items via the floating toolbar.

Portrait, Landscape, or Square

An aspect-ratio toggle lets desktop screen recordings render in 16:9 instead of being letterboxed into 9:16. Auto picks the best fit based on your capture.
