How long does a song take?

Can I use my own lyrics?
Yes. Paste a finished lyric and Theo composes around it. Or give it a topic and a songwriting pass drafts the words, tightens the hook, and paces them to the tempo. Or skip lyrics entirely for an instrumental.
Can I start from something I recorded?
Yes. Record from the mic or upload a clip, then pick cover mode, which keeps your melody and words while rebuilding the production, or style mode, which borrows the feel for a brand-new song.
Can I change a song after it is made?
Ask in the same thread. Something like “more upbeat chorus” or “switch to acoustic” re-renders fresh takes that keep the song's identity and change only what you asked for. Every earlier version stays in the thread.
Why two versions instead of one?
Because the second take is usually the one. Composing both in parallel means you choose between real options rather than re-rolling and hoping, and it costs you one request instead of two.
