Daily Morning Brief

A short note from Theo at 8 AM in your local timezone. It tells you how many meetings you have today, what you wrapped up yesterday, and which tasks and projects deserve your attention first. Copy varies day to day so the email feels alive instead of templated.

When it arrives

The brief lands at 8:00 AM in your local timezone. Theo detects your timezone automatically the first time you sign in (and every time it changes — handy when you travel). You can override it from Settings › Preferences if needed.

Theo only sends the brief when there's something to share — meetings, tasks, recent projects, or yesterday's recap. On a truly empty day, no email goes out.

What’s inside

Today's calendar

If you've connected Google or Outlook through Theo Meetings, every event for today shows up — start time, duration, attendees, platform, and a deep link straight to the meeting.

Today's objectives

Open tasks pinned in your notes, sorted with overdue first, then by due date and priority. Each row links straight to the parent note.

Yesterday's recap

Completed Meeting Recorder sessions from yesterday with a short summary excerpt and any captured action items, so today starts where yesterday ended.

Pause or turn it off

Open Settings › Preferences › Alerts › Email Notifications and toggle off Daily Morning Brief. Theo will stop sending immediately. Re-enable any time.
