A knowledge map is an AI-generated mind-map-style breakdown of any topic — auto-saved as a Notes project for further editing or as part of Learn Mode and Explore Mode follow-ups.

Knowledge maps cluster sub-concepts under a central topic and link them visually. They’re produced as part of Explore and Learn Mode, but you can also build one directly with the create_knowledge_map tool from chat.
